In our opinion, the question isn’t “why,” it’s “why not?”  Period Packs are fun AND functional. We have a variety of options and our designers are always coming up with interesting ways to deliver our products. Inside each gift box are useful feminine hygiene products, fun and delicious gift items and a useful guide to introduce menstruation and puberty to young ladies.  What young lady doesn’t like an unexpected gift discreetly delivered to her door?

Who buys Period Packs?
You guessed it! Moms, aunts, uncles, grandparents, big sisters, best friends, teachers, nurses, caregivers, doctors and even…gulp…fathers/dads! Anyone can buy a Period Pack for a special young lady, new mom or woman amid menopause, to give them something unexpected, functional, celebratory, humorous and comforting when they need it most.

What makes Period Packs so different from other period kits?
We’ll just say it right up front, we LOVE our sisters (and brothers) in the business because, simply put, we’re all passionate about giving women support during a time when they could really use some comfort. Our goal is make those moments a little bit more comfortable (and in some cases, celebratory) while also delivering to our clients, necessary ‘tools of the trade’ to make their lives a little easier.  But, we are not a feminine hygiene subscription box service. Rather, we’re a wonderfully packaged gift of necessary and fun items to bridge the conversation about a typically sensitive topic: menstruation.  In short, ‘we’re not just a box…we’re a gift!” When you want to deliver the best gift first, send a Period Pack!

Can we get a different size pad/tampon/menstrual cup?
Great question!  Generally speaking, we design our gift boxes to meet the needs of most women by delivering the most commonly used sizes. Of course, not all women are ‘one size fits all’ since we’re all very unique in our own way as far as our size, what we prefer (organic vs. traditional; tampons or pads; cups to disposables; cotton to washable) and the list goes on and on.  So, if you are interested in a specific size/request, please contact us at customerservice@periodpacks.com and we will do our very best to assist you in acquiring exactly what you would like.  Or, when ordering, simply note your desires within the comments section of the order form.  We’ll take care of the rest!

Who else sells Period Packs?
Period Packs first period kits can also be purchased from one of our affiliate partners or gift retailers. If  would like to become a Period Packs affiliate or if you are a gift retailer and would like to add Period Packs to your gift lineup, please contact the Period Packs marketing and sales team at: customerservice@periodpacks.com.

Period Packs first period gift boxHow can I check the status of/track my order?
Period Packs, Inc. (www.periodpacks.com) ships primarily via the United States Postal Service (USPS). Upon placing an order, you will receive a receipt and confirmation and can then track the status of your order via the USPS website (Delivery Confirmation). You will receive an email when your order has shipped and can then track your package online.

Can I place an order from outside the USA?
Yes…sort of.  Period Packs, Inc. is currently experimenting with both international USPS and UPS for overseas shipments. At this time however, our shopping cart does not currently calculate accurate international shipping charges. Should you reside outside the United States, we encourage you to contact us directly at customerservice@periodpacks.com and we will work with you directly to provide shipping costs, or estimates on shipping (without taxes/duties*) before you purchase.

*IMPORTANT: For Canadian and International Orders, we cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes or duties. Any customs or import costs are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel (not the sender).

How do I calculate shipping and handling for my order?
For all shipments within the United States, Period Packs, Inc. (www.periodpacks.com) currently ships Priority via the United States Postal Service (USPS). For larger and international orders, Period Packs, Inc. is currently experimenting with both USPS and UPS/ground. Domestic shipping can be estimated prior to the final check out page on our website. After placing all the items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart, proceed to check out. A shipping estimator considers the amount of goods and weight you have in your cart. At the final check out, freight costs will be finalized based on the destination zip code. For International orders, please contact Team Period Packs directly at: customerservice@periodpacks.com and we can assist with estimating shipping costs.

What forms of payment do you accept online?
Currently, Period Packs, Inc. proudly accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express and debit cards.

What if the products I’ve ordered are put on back order?
All items represented on our website are typically in stock. At times, items sell very quickly and a back order may develop. Should this occur, you will be notified via email and given a series of options. You will be given the date the item will be available and at what time it will be available, so that you can decide if you wish to wait for the item or cancel your order. Additionally, we occasionally make substitutions for products depending on available inventory. In those instances, our clients often get more than they were expecting…which is a good thing!

Do you offer gift packaging?
The entire Period Packs, Inc. family of products are shipped/delivered in gift boxes. No additional gift packaging is required. As we say in the office, “It’s not just a box…it’s a gift!” 

My order is a gift–may I include a gift card?
Yes, absolutely. We encourage our customers to draft their own special greetings to the recipient of each Period Pack first period kit. However, should you want us to enclose our own appropriate and celebratory message, let us know in the notes section and we will happily do so!

Do you offer gift certificates?
At this time, Period Packs does not offer gift certificates. However, we are working to implement this additional feature and will advise our customers once the feature is in place.

Can I place an order by telephone?
At this time, all orders (except bulk/wholesale and international) for Period Packs are taken via the Internet. A member from Team Period Packs will contact you directly should a phone order be required.

Can I change my order once it is placed?
If you have made an error in your order or if you would like to change it prior to it being shipped, simply contact us at customerservice@periodpacks.com and we will make every effort to assist you.

How long do I have to wait for delivery?
Typically, we ask customer to allow up to 2 weeks for delivery, although orders are normally shipped within 2-3 business days after the order is received. Once packages are shipped, customers will receive an email to confirm shipment.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by contacting us at customerservice@periodpacks.com. Refunds will be made in the same manner in which you paid for your goods. Should products ship prior to your request to cancel, we regretfully will be unable to refund your money or shipping charges as our products are not returnable.

What if I’m allergic to chocolate, peanuts or milk?
Our Period Packs line of first period kits and other gift boxes DO sometimes contain items that either contain or have been manufactured in facilities that produce products containing milk, egg, peanut, wheat and/or soybean products.  Please review contents of package closely prior to order – especially if known allergies to any of the above mentioned products exists. Period Packs can remove these products prior to shipment and if notified in advance, can also attempt to fill the gift box with an allergy-free alternative or additional product of equal value.

Something unexpected shipped with my Period Pack, what do I do with it?
Occasionally, Period Packs will ship a sample (wipes, chocolate, etc.) or something ‘extra’ to its customers as a free gift. Our goal is to celebrate a young lady’s transition from girl to woman and in doing so, often uncover unique items that fit well with our gifts which we opt not to charge back to our customers. It is our way of celebrating our wonderful customers!

Should you decide you do not want the extra item, simply discard it, or better yet, gift it to a friend that has not yet gotten her period!

My Period Pack didn’t have the right size pad, liner or tampon for my needs. What do I do?
Period Packs has designed its first period kits for the pre-teen young woman. As all women are unique, so are their feminine hygiene needs. At Period Packs, we seek to introduce young ladies to available options—which typically begin with regular size pads and tampons, and standard panty liners. We anticipate introducing additional Pack options to extend our available product offerings in the coming months.

Does Period Packs offer products wholesale?
If you represent a hospital, retail business, school, community group or organization seeking bulk/wholesale quantities of Period Packs, please contact Chief Maxi Wendy Agudelo at wendy@periodpacks.com. Please note that at this time, we only offer wholesale options for our Period Packs Minis.

Why did different products arrive in my gift box instead of what is pictured on the website?
As with any business, product inventory can change–sometimes very quickly. While each Period Pack gift box arrives fully stocked, some products may be included that are not pictured on the website. In nearly every case, it is because we’ve added extra gifts and goodies to your gift box in appreciation for your business. However, there are occasions where our vendors stop manufacture of certain products we previously carried, modify their packaging, or sadly, go out of business. In those instances, we work hard to source similar gift items to include so that our clients receive what they pay for–and more!  Given how quickly things change in our industry, we can occasionally be delayed in updating our web imagery to show content changes.  Regardless, the Period Packs team always includes anticipated products and attempt to maintain lock-step with those vendors who supply items for our gift boxes. Should your gift box not include something you really wanted, don’t hesitate to contact us as we’ll do our utmost to ensure your complete satisfaction.
